Use your gifts to help Africans transform Africa by serving with The Rafiki Foundation in one of 10 African countries through Bible studies, classical schools and teachers colleges.
Rafiki is seeking art/music/school teachers to come volunteer their time and talent at one of our Rafiki schools. We have many opportunities available including:
– Assisting in the classroom
– Tutoring one-on-one or in small groups
– Giving music lessons
– Reading books to small groups of children
– Help in the Rafiki library
– Art projects
– Workshops
Established in 1985 by Rosemary Jensen, Rafiki operates in 10 countries throughout Africa, serving both as an orphanage and Christian school. The Education Program in each Rafiki Village includes a school from pre-K through twelfth grade for the orphaned children who live in the Village and impoverished children from the surrounding communities. All are instructed with the Rafiki School Curriculum—a Christian classical curriculum written by the Foundation. Rafiki’s curriculum integrates a biblical worldview into a traditional liberal arts core of arts, letters, sciences, and mathematics.
