Founded in 1989, Mexico Medical Missions seeks to alleviate the physical and spiritual sufferings of the people of the Sierra Madre Copper Canyon area of Northern Mexico. We provide health care, food and clean water. We serve because proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ is more than words – it is also acts of love and service that cause a person to open their hearts to the “Great Physician.” These people of the Sierra Madre suffer from high infant mortality, inadequate health care, contaminated water and a poor diet. They are subsistence farmers who are plagued with frequent droughts and crop failures.
