The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Georgia & Alabama grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. We serve every community throughout Georgia and Alabama. Any child who is at least 2 1/2 years old and under the age of 18 (at the time of referral) who has been determined by a physician to have a life-threatening medical condition and has not been granted a previous wish is eligible. We have been granting wishes since 1985 and granted wish number 3000 in 2005! We expect to grant 415 wishes in 2006.
