Benjamin Rose is a non-sectarian health and social service agency that was founded in 1908 to improve the quality of life for older people and their caregivers through community-based and residential care, research, education and advocacy. Benjamin Rose has two major divisions: Community/In-Home Services , which offers health and social services in peoples’ homes or other community settings; and, the Margaret Blenkner Research Institute , whose staff conducts applied research to develop and evaluate service programs for the elderly and is nationally renowned in the field of gerontology. Benjamin Rose serves over 2,500 people through in-home care, nursing home care, adult day care, private duty care, nursing assessments and telephone consultation.
