The Boy Scouts of America, California Inland Empire Council has earned the title of Quality Council by the Boy Scouts of America each of the past eight years. Since 1995, the Council has shown a net 28% increase in the number of youth served. In 2000, there were 21,604 youth members, and the future looks even more demanding, with a projected growth of over 100% in the next five years. By 2005, we expect over 44,000 young people will be enrolled in our Council Scouting programs, provided by over 16,000 adult volunteers. Council territory includes all of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, and stretches from Fort Irwin and Death Valley to Temecula and Indio; Corona and Barstow to the Arizona and Nevada borders.
