Bread for the World Institute

Bread for the World Institute seeks justice for hungry people by engaging in research and education on policies related to hunger and development. As the partner organization of Bread for the World, the Institute oversees several programs related to hunger education and research. Bread for the World Institute’s hunger policy education materials include an annual report on hunger and international development issues. Its Hunger Free Communities (formerly TAHL) initiative is a program of advocacy education and leadership development designed to strengthen constituencies that are committed to reducing poverty and hunger. The Institute also serves as secretariat for the Alliance to End Hunger, a coalition of various bodies dedicated to reducing hunger in the U.S. and internationally.
