California State Parks Foundation

Founded in 1969, the California State Parks Foundation is dedicated to preserving every leaf, blade of grass, and grain of sand from the shores of Año Nuevo to the peaks of the Sierra Nevada. We are the voice of California’s State Parks. Working with citizens, lawmakers, and community and business leaders, we advocate for adequate funding and protection of the resources that help our parks thrive. Our non-profit foundation supports environmental education, wildlife and habitat preservation, volunteerism, and sound park policy. And we raise funds to ensure that our State Parks continue to be the places where cherished memories are made – and revisited.
