Capital Area Food Bank of Texas

The Capital Area Food Bank of Texas (CAFB), which opened in 1981, provides food to human service agencies serving people in need throughout Central Texas by receiving and storing truckloads of donated food and other grocery products. CAFB distributes food and grocery products in manageable quantities to human and social service agencies that help people in need. More than 350 partner agencies in 21 Central Texas counties work with the CAFB. CAFB distributes more than 16 million pounds of food and grocery products each year.
