Catawba Lands Conservancy

Established in 1991, Catawba Lands Conservancy is one of 23 land trusts in North Carolina working to save the places you love by protecting our land, water and wildlife habitat. The Conservancy currently protects more than 6,200 acres in its six-county service area. Catawba Lands Conservancy focuses on land that protects ecological diversity, water quality and open space. Many of our properties possess all three of these traits, and each is valuable to the property itself while providing a public benefit for the entire Charlotte region. The Conservancy works to protect ecologically diverse habitats and other forms of open space, as well as safeguard the region’s water supply.
