Since 1946, City Rescue Mission (CRM) has served the homeless and needy in Northeast Florida by providing food and safe overnight shelter. We provide emergency services at our New Life Inn, located on State Street in downtown Jacksonville. This facility allows us to serve several hundred meals and house about 60 men and 10 women and children each and every day. After the evening meal, guests are asked to attend a chapel service led by one of our devoted volunteer ministers. CRM’s LifeBuilders program is a 12-step faith-based long-term residential recovery program that typically requires 12-15 months to complete. CRM is one of the only facilities allowing children to remain with mothers in addiction recovery.
