Cleveland Council on World Affairs

Founded in 1923 to promote world peace, the Cleveland Council on World Affairs (CCWA) is Northeast Ohio’s most prominent organization that provides the public with greater understanding and personal engagement in international relations and global issues. The Council hosts more than 30 events each year, ranging from major lectures by political, business and academic leaders who shape the world to free discussions with national and regional experts. The Council’s programs for students and educators challenge over 2000 area students each year, encourage students to discover and understand complex global concerns and offer a context for examining issues from multiple perspectives.
