The Community Foundation of Greater Memphis is dedicated to strengthening our community through philanthropy. We help donors support the organizations they care about most. Since 1969, we have awarded more than $300 million in grants from our 900 charitable funds established by individuals, families and organizations. Through a community foundation, donors are able to maximize charitable gifts during their lifetimes and to provide perpetual gifts through endowments. The funds established by donors provide grants for hundreds of diverse charitable organizations.
