Founded in 1981, ELIC (English Language Institute/China) is an educational organization that has been placing Christian men and women across Asia for the summer, academic year and longer. ELIC offers programs for all ages and backgrounds. Current college students of all majors, professionals in any field, early retirees, families, singles, and couples – all are welcome! No foreign language or previous teaching experience is required. Of those 8,000 individuals who have left behind the typical North American way-of-life, and have embraced a six-week to life-long commitment abroad, none have returned unchanged
