Greenville Humane Society

The Greenville Humane Society has served the Greenville community since the 1800’s, and continues to unite families with previously unwanted animals everyday. The mission of the Greenville Humane Society is to promote and improve the quality of life and humane treatment of animals. Methods for accomplishing this mission include reducing the unwanted animal population, educating the public, encouraging responsible pet ownership, eliminating animal cruelty and suffering, and seeking support for animal welfare legislation. We operate a full-service animal shelter and clinic, and no animal is turned away from the shelter. Over 20,000 animals are turned in to the shelter each year.
