Founded in 1990, the International Myeloma Foundation (IMF) helps everyone battling multiple myeloma: patients, families, friends, caregivers and the medical and scientific communities. The IMF does this by publishing a quarterly newsletter, Myeloma Today, which is an educational and informative publication dealing with treatment and research on myeloma. IMF also holds clinical seminars in order to educate patients and their families about the most recent developments and research on myeloma. A telephone hotline provides patients and physicians information on treatments and protocols.
