Los Angeles Regional Foodbank

Founded in 1973, Los Angeles Regional Foodbank seeks to mobilize the resources of our community to fight hunger, the causes of hunger and the problems related to hunger. Los Angeles Regional Foodbank currently distributes food to a network of over 1,000 charities in Los Angeles County. Through these charities we feed abused and abandoned children, battered women, the disabled, the elderly, the homeless, the unemployed, those afflicted with HIV and AIDS and the working poor. More than 350,000 people receive food from the Foodbank each week.
