Founded in 1985, Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity is committed to assisting families in need with the life-changing opportunity of buying decent, affordable housing using a team of enthusiastic volunteers and staff guided by Christian values. Our sponsors and volunteers have helped us to build more than 200 homes to date. In 2005, we will build 29 homes, our highest number of homes in one year. We build more than houses. Our goal is to educate, encourage and empower people to change the way they live through the first step of homeownership.
