The mission of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is to end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis. Founded in 1952, the Greater Illinois Chapter provides services and programs to 18,000 people with MS and their families within Illinois. The chapter funds research, furthers education, advocates for people with disabilities, and provides referrals to healthcare providers and other resources within the community.
