Founded in 1946, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society funds more research, offers more services for people with MS, and provides more professional education programs than any other MS organization in the world. At the Society’s Northern California Chapter, our emphasis is on wellness. The Chapter is committed to the empowerment of people with MS, their families, friends, and significant others, and all people affected by MS. The Chapter was chartered in 1954, and presently has three offices. We are the local resource for more than 10,000 people with MS in a 41-county area.
