The National Multiple Sclerosis Society works to end the devastating effects of Multiple Sclerosis (MS). To accomplish this, we must discover the cause, increase the number of treatment options and find a cure. Until we reach this goal, we will empower people with MS and their families to cope with the effects of the disease and work to maintain their independence. The Oregon Chapter provides programs designed to enhance the quality of life for people with MS and their families throughout Oregon and Clark County, Washington and by raising funds to support these programs and national research efforts aimed at solving the puzzle of MS. The Oregon Chapter is 36 years old and is currently serving over 5,800 people with MS plus family members, friends and health care professionals in our chapter area.
