National Tropical Botanical Garden

The National Tropical Botanical Garden (NTBG) is dedicated to the conservation of tropical plant diversity, particularly rare and endangered species. Located in the only tropical and sub-tropical regions in the United States, the gardens and preserves of the NTBG are “Noah’s Arks” for this threatened plant life. NTBG is about collecting, studying, and nurturing plants. But our job is not done until we have shown others. NTBG also fosters and encourages fundamental research in tropical plant life and encourages research and study of the uses of tropical flora.
