The Pearl For Peace is a new creation in the image of The Pearl of Lao-Tzu, and of which the purpose is to be a symbol of peace and to fulfill the legacy of The Pearl. Our mission is to reach out to all of mankind to unite in the mission of peace and freedom through local, national, and international humanitarian, educational and community programs; to support our federal, state and local law enforcement and intelligence agencies with donations and fund raising events within our communities.
We have created a new pearl that follows the teaching of Lao Tzu and the beliefs of the Directors and members of The Pearl For Peace Foundation, Inc.. That teaching is not only to love thy neighbor but also to respect our neighbors, not to judge them but to help them. Most of us have all made mistakes along the way though we have had good intentions. The Foundation not only has good intentions, but is making it a reality. I, Victor M. Barbish, have made it my goal to personally donate $20 million to two law enforcement agencies in Colorado and two in Florida (five million apiece). That is just a beginning. I believe law enforcement officers should be able to patrol in pairs as opposed to being forced to patrol alone due to budgetary constraints. I would like to enable them to have a more deserving salary and everything else they need to operate safe and efficient law enforcement departments.
All my friends and acquaintances have been affiliated with law enforcement. It has been my desire to be a FBI agent. Unfortunately, I have not been able to fulfill this desire. Through the years I have been disappointed that the TRUE HEROES of this Country are under paid and under respected. Now, I wish to help those in law enforcement to do so safely and with dignity.
