Pioneer Bible Translators (PBT) works to disciple the nations by providing Scripture in the language of the people; developing mother-tongue literacy programs, and establishing and strengthening congregations. To accomplish this purpose, PBT serves as a missionary ministry of Christ’s church and has as its primary task the translation of the Word of God for the world’s peoples who do not yet have access to it in their own language. We currently have over 100 missionaries serving in different capacities: translators, literacy and medical workers, teachers of missionary children, and many more. PBT has entered and worked in 27 different language groups around the world, such as West Africa, Eurasia, Tanzania, and Papua New Guinea.
