The Rescue Mission of El Paso, founded 51 years ago, serves as a member of the local body of Christ in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the poor and displaced while demonstrating the love of Christ in assisting persons with physical needs of food, clothing, shelter, counseling, education, and vocational training and placement. The Rescue Mission provides services to the full profile of displaced persons: mentally challenged; physically disabled (short and long term); survivors of violence (domestic and street); geriatric; terminally ill; victims of global economic warfare; those lacking education or marketable skills; former felons; or drug and/or alcohol abuse, to name a few. Any person in need is welcome at the Mission.
