Santa Barbara Rescue Mission

Founded in 1965, the Santa Barbara Rescue Mission (SBRM) is a ministry of Christian people bringing physical, emotional, educational and spiritual resources to men, women and children in need, particularly those struggling with addictions. SBRM is a Christian social service organization. It has been called “The Arm of the Church” since it was established to represent Christ’s love in the community as it reaches out to those with special needs. SBRM is the first rescue mission in California history to be licensed by the State’s Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs.
