Through empowerment, education and partnerships, Second Harvest Food Bank of the Inland Northwest brings community resources together to feed people in need. Incorporated in 1972, Second Harvest is a streamlined, efficient warehouse operation, providing vital hunger-relief services to thousands of children and families through nearly 300 partner nonprofit agencies throughout the Inland Northwest. As a regional distribution site of the America’s Second Harvest national food bank network, Second Harvest serves 21 counties in Eastern Washington and five counties in North Idaho. Second Harvest distributed 13.3 million pounds of food valued at more than $19.9 million last year.
