St. Mary’s Food Bank (SMFB), the world’s first food bank established in 1967, works to eliminate hunger through advocacy, education and the gathering and distributing of food to those in need. We serve 592 partner agencies which help a wide range of clients, the majority of those clients being poor, children and seniors. SFMB provides food for 34 community distributions and 20 school distributions every month. Overall SMFB distributed 33,000,000 pounds of food last year. We serve 11 of the 15 counties in Arizona.
