With more than 70 years of service in San Mateo County, the St. Vincent de Paul Society of San Mateo has some 800 volunteers who provide emergency assistance of all kinds. They visit homes, give food, prevent evictions, offer clothing and furniture, assist with rent and utilities payments, and give other necessities. Clients are needy families and individuals of all backgrounds regardless of race, creed, age, disability, gender, or any other criteria. Every area of San Mateo County receives service. St. Vincent de Paul Society is a compassionate leader in service to the poor.
