Founded in 1943, the Columbus Foundation is the community’s permanent endowment, enabling central Ohioans from all walks of life to improve the communities they care about through charitable giving. We join with the greater community to respond to key challenges and work with local and regional entities to address critical issues. Our personalized services have helped individuals, families, and businesses create more than 1,200 permanent funds and foundations with gifts and bequests. These unique funds are as varied as the donors who create them, range in value from $10,000 to $30 million, and support a variety of community needs.
