Founded in 1973, the Oregon Community Foundation, in partnership with its donors, is one of the premier philanthropic organizations in Oregon. Our purpose is to improve life through philanthropy. We achieve our purpose through the wise and careful management of permanent charitable funds on behalf of generous donors. Grants and scholarships provided from our funds support humanitarian, educational, and cultural programs that benefit communities throughout Oregon. During 2003, the Foundation awarded $32 million in grants and scholarships.
