Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity

Founded in 1985, Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity works to eliminate poverty housing from the Twin Cities and to make decent, affordable shelter for all people a matter of conscience. Habitat for Humanity provides home ownership opportunities for low-income families. Working under the faith-based principle that no profit should be gained from assisting those in need, Habitat for Humanity charges no interest on the homes that it sells. Since its founding, Twin Cities Habitat has built or rehab-ed more than 600 homes. Approximately 3,000 individuals are now living in Twin Cities Habitat homes.
