Many people on the Mexican border live in horrendous conditions while waiting for an opportunity to enter the U.S.—a reality few will experience. We serve here to bring a different kind of hope!
We coordinate trips to meet the specific needs of teams made up of all ages. From the service projects to the evening program, each day is scheduled to help connect your family, your group or you as an individual with experiences that will have a lasting impact in each person’s life.
During your trip you will meet both the physical and spiritual needs of the Rancho San Juan Bosco, a children’s home in Tecate, Mexico. Physical needs are met primarily through construction and renovation projects at orphanage. (No previous experience necessary.)
Spiritual needs are met in a number of creative and culturally appropriate ways. You will most likely engage in a combination of the following outreach activities: host Kids Club at the orphanage, play with the children at orphanage, and worship with a local congregation.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Flexibility is the key! ALL ministry/outreach activities are customized to the communities’ specific needs and are specifically determined closer to the time of the trip. Our goal is to partner with the community we are going to serve.
