Kidney Cancer Association

The Kidney Cancer Association (KCA) is made up of patients, family members, physicians, researchers, and other health professionals. Our mission is a world without kidney cancer. We fund research, educate families and physicians, and serve as an advocate on behalf of patients. The Association was founded in 1990 by a small group of patients and medical doctors in Chicago, Illinois. In Fiscal Year 2004, we provided more than two-dozen educational meetings for patients in various U.S. cities. The KCA acts as an advocate on behalf of patients with the federal government, insurance companies, and employers. The KCA has provided information to Congress and other institutions about patient needs and health care policies.
