Established in 1980, The Jackson Hole Land Trust works to preserve open space and the scenic, ranching, and wildlife values of Jackson Hole by assisting landowners who wish to protect their land in perpetuity. The Land Trust protects land in and around Jackson Hole through the donation of conservation easements that protect important conservation resources. By working with the owners of this area’s special open lands, the Land Trust has ensured the permanent protection of over 15,000 acres in and around Jackson Hole. Jackson Hole is an integral part of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, the largest intact ecosystem in the United States.
