The Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) Foundation was formed in 1986 to help MAF friends multiply the impact of their gifts by planning ahead. MAF is a team of aviation and communication specialists overcoming barriers in support of more than 300 Christian and humanitarian organizations around the world. MAF was founded in 1945 by former World War II pilots who loved the Lord Jesus, loved flying, and wanted to see their two loves joined. With a fleet of more than 70 aircraft, our pilots can travel across rough, hostile terrain that could take days or even weeks to travel by boat, camel or on foot.
