Alfalit International is an educational, non-denominational, Christian organization that has been promoting preschool, literacy, elementary education, health, nutrition, and community development in Latin America since 1961. For the past three years, we have also been working in Spanish speaking Equatorial Guinea in Africa. More recently, we have begun our work in Haiti, Angola, Portugal and Portuguese-speaking Africa. In addition to our educational work, medical teams of Alfalit volunteers offer medical services and distribute medicine and medical supplies as needed. In times of natural disasters, we also work with other agencies to aid any of the countries we serve.
