Founded in 1973 out of a desperate need, the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) exists to eliminate brain tumors and to meet the needs of brain tumor patients and their families. The ABTA is the premiere resource for comprehensive information on brain tumors. Not affiliated with any one institution, we serve individuals globally and award funds to institutions throughout the United States and Canada. We are an independent, global organization making an impact by funding research and providing the information patients need to make educated decisions about their health care.
