Animal Protective Association of Missouri

Founded in 1922, the Animal Protective Association of Missouri (APA) provides shelter and a second chance for over 6,000 lost and unwanted animals each year. We are committed to building a more humane community through adoption, education, and outreach partnerships. The APA of MO works to create and share in pioneer outreach and partnership programs. Our Domestic Violence Pet Assistance program assists families escaping the threat of harm. PetReach animal assisted activities serve those people in residential facilities who may not respond to caretakers with comfort but find it easier to share with a visiting pet.
