Twenty-five years ago a few trailblazing Arizona women took on the challenge of changing lives through the dignity of work for the growing number of individuals in our community relying on welfare. Their vision and passion helped develop and launch Arizona Women’s Education & Employment (AWEE). AWEE provides a number of programs and services to women and men who want to improve their current employment opportunities. Our participants may be currently employed or re-entering the workforce. To date, we have served and supported more than 33,000 individuals in their quest to attain quality jobs that create positive changes and successful beginnings for themselves and their families.
