Founded in 1972, the Armenian Assembly of America is a nationwide organization promoting public understanding and awareness of Armenian issues. The Assembly works to support and deepen the U.S./Armenia and U.S./Karabakh relationships based upon a common vision of democracy, the rule of law, open markets, regional security and unfettered commerce; promote public and private civil society initiatives within Armenia and Karabakh; and secure a collaboration among Armenian-American organizations and to establish results-oriented working relationships with non-partisan advocacy groups.
