Established in 1971, Boys and Girls Country of Houston provides children from families in crisis with love, security, a sense of self worth and opportunities to prepare them for a successful life. In addition to the 88 children who live on campus, Boys and Girls Country supports 26 students who have graduated and are in our College and Career program. We provide financial support for college or trade school, and a home during college breaks or summer until they are launched into a first job. The Home, located in northwest Houston has been able to serve over one thousand children with the commitment and dedication of our volunteers, donors, houseparents and other staff members.
