Founded in 1968, Bright Hope International is committed to helping those living in extreme poverty. Bright Hope does three things: helps the poor produce a product they can sell; empowers pastors and evangelists to share the love of Christ in poor communities; and provides relief to people in crisis. Bright Hope International works through churches and partners in 42 countries around the world. In situations of immediate need, such as war and natural disaster, we help to collect and ship medical supplies, warm clothing, blankets, building materials, and food. Most importantly we also support the work of evangelists within their own communities trying to spread the Word of the Gospel.
