Cary Academy, founded in 1996, is an independent, co-educational college preparatory day school for students in grades 6-12. Cary Academy offers a rigorous college preparatory program designed to prepare students for success in higher education and in other endeavors. At the heart of Cary Academy’s curriculum lies a strong commitment to challenge all students appropriate to their academic levels. Cary Academy presents all students with the strong, content-based foundation required by each discipline; additionally, the school works to instill a set of skills that enable students to succeed in college and beyond. In 2004-2005, there were 94 seniors and 368 students in the Upper School. Virtually 100% of our graduates attend 4-year colleges or universities.
