Catholic Charities of Los Angeles

Since 1919, Catholic Charities of Los Angeles has served as the human services arm of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and has been one of the largest social service providers in Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. In more than 50 offices and community centers, the agency rendered 1.1 million services to 223,894 different individuals during the past year. Clients come to Catholic Charities for emergency food and shelter, low-cost before-and-after-school childcare, immigration and refugee assistance, psychological services, computer and jobs skills training, and other supportive services. Inspired by our shared vision of Christ’s Kingdom, Catholic Charities is firmly committed to enhancing the social mission of the Church through human services, empowerment, positive social change and social justice.
