Established in 1884, Central Union Mission is one of America’s oldest social service ministries. Today, we continue to glorify God through proclaiming and teaching the gospel, leading people to Christ, developing disciples, and serving the needs of hurting people throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area. Programs and services include the: Overnight Guest Ministry; Men’s Ministry – Spiritual Transformation Program; Children’s Ministry and Camp Bennett; Hispanic Ministry; Community Outreach Ministry; and Food Service Ministry. In the past year, the Mission has served more than 120,000 meals, provided over 45,000 beds for men and children, and distributed clothing to more than 6,000 men, women and children.
