In the mid-80’s, two ministers and former college roommates Greg Ball and Rice Broocks, began ministering to college and professional athletes across the country. Formally incorporated in 1991, Champions for Christ is an outreach to athletes with a mission to communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ and to equip leaders. We seek to accomplish these aims by building relationships with individuals as well as other ministries and churches. Through our Champions for Christ chapters nationally and internationally, our ministry focuses on evangelism, training, and discipleship. Our goal is to deliver a Biblical message that leads to a championship lifestyle. We hope to inspire men and women to become effective Christian leaders in every sphere of life.
