Chicago Public Radio offers over 560,000 listeners each week a wide variety of programs from news and public affairs to music and arts. Chicago Public Radio produces such distinctive and innovative programming as This American Life, Eight Forty-Eight, Odyssey, Schadenfreude, Performance Space, Stories on Stage, and Worldview and broadcasts a wide array of jazz, blues, and world music. Chicago Public Radio is the home of the Third Coast International Audio Festival and the only Chicago area member station of NPR, producers of Morning Edition and All Things Considered. We broadcast programming distributed by Public Radio International, like Marketplace and A Prairie Home Companion, and draw from many other national and international program sources.
