Common Hope

Common Hope promotes hope and opportunity in Guatemala, partnering with children, families, and communities who want to participate in a process of development to improve their lives through education, health care, and housing. In the fall of 1985, a group of Guatemalans asked the Huebsch family of Minnesota, USA for help in educating their children. As a result, Common Hope was founded so that friends could get involved. Since then, Common Hope has grown from a small, family-based project to a powerful force partnering with over 8,000 children and adults living in rural and urban poverty in Guatemala.
