The Denver Rescue Mission (DRM), the oldest full-service Christian charity serving the needy in the Rocky Mountains, was founded in 1892. The Mission’s chief goal is to meet people at their physical and spiritual points of need. We provide food, shelter, and clothing, along with practical programs of education, Christian teaching, and work discipline with the aim of returning the poor, needy, and homeless to society as self-sufficient, productive citizens. Functioning today as a non-denominational charity, no one is denied DRM’s services because of race, color, creed, gender, or national origin.
