East Meets West, founded in 1988, works to partner with the people of Vietnam to improve their health, education, and economic conditions in an effort to eradicate poverty and to help them achieve self-sufficiency. Today, with hundreds of caring supporters and a unique partnership with the Vietnamese people, East Meets West is expanding its humanitarian relief projects into two new provinces, Quang Tri and Quang Nhai. East Meets West provides quality programs for enhancing the education and health of children, and builds and renovates such vital institutions as schools, hospitals, medical clinics, and clean and safe water systems for home and agricultural use.
